Take advantage of the power to add sub-tabs to showcase the most important content on your social network. Here are just a few ideas:
  1. Create an “Admins” tab and link to the profile pages of your Administrators with sub-tabs. This makes it easy for members to contact the right people with any questions.
  2. Add sub-tabs under the “Groups” tab to highlight your favorite specific groups.
  3. Under the “Blogs” tab, use sub-tabs to link to the specific member blogs that are generating the most excitement and debate.
Add a sub-tab to your social network:
Adding a new tab to your social network’s navigation highlights important content and makes it easy to access. Another great way to keep the layout of your navigation clean and well-organized is to create sub-tabs, drop down menus that appear below your top level tabs.
Adding sub-tab menus allows you to keep the number of top level tabs to a minimum, while highlighting information that’s most important. This way the initial experience for new members and visitors isn’t too confusing, and when they’re ready to dive in they’ll easily have access to the best information and content. With the Tab Manager, you can turn any tab into a sub-tab, or create new tabs as sub-tabs.
To create a sub-tab, head to the Manage tab and click on the “Tab Manager” link.
Choose the tab you’d like to turn into a sub-tab, then check the “Make this a sub-tab” box. Sub-tabs are indented on the left side of the Tab Manager to show which top-level tab they belong to. Click “Save Tab Settings” and enjoy your new sub-tab!

‘Supermoon’ Dazzles: Biggest Full Moon in 18 Years Amazes Skywatchers

The largest full moon in more than 18 years – a so-called “supermoon” – did not disappoint eager skywatchers around the world Saturday when it rose, big and bright, into Earth’s night sky.

The full moon of March was 221,565 miles (356,575 kilometers) on Saturday, March 19 just 50 minutes after it hit its full phase, making it the biggest and brightest full moon since 1993.

Report: Number Of Malware-Infected Web Sites Has Doubled In Past Year

A new Dasient report says that the number of Web sites infected with malware has doubled in the past year. That means we’re now just short of 1.2 million Web sites out there infected with malware. That means that in about three months of Web surfing the average person has 95% chance of running into malware.
